The team at Branston were looking to run promotional activity to create some media noise, increase brand awareness and gain more traffic to their D2C website.
We have a long-standing relationship with Branston, who recognised that we were the ideal partner to tackle a unique and memorable project.
The Pickle Post allowed consumers to send personalised jars of Branston pickle to expat relatives living in Europe so they could enjoy a taste of home at Christmas.
We were the print and fulfilment partner for the campaign – integrating the D2C site with our Order Management System (OMS), printing personalised labels, packing the orders into gift boxes, and dispatching the goods all over Europe.
Following this, we continued to print and fulfil orders of personalised Branston jars from their D2C website. Our successful partnership with Branston has more recently progressed to a range of jars with limited edition labels and festive branded merchandise. This included Christmas baubles, hoodies and woolly hats.
We worked closely with the Branston team and their other partners, using our personalisation expertise to advise on label designs and the most effective print processes. We also supported Branston with samples for a range of print and embroidery options for the clothing items. Our integrated order management system allowed us to easily create the new product listings to enable us to pick, pack and fulfil the orders.
A fantastic range of quirky festive branded merchandise was created to promote on social media and sell on the Branston website. On the launch of the campaign, Branston saw an immediate increase in visitors to their D2C site. Plus, they saw an increase in sales of over 500% in the first week!
