When household name Moonpig originally approached us the brief was simple; support the printing of XL cards and handle all personalised gift cards. Of course, we said ‘no problem’.
As the relationship evolved, so did the scope, and we became much more than just a print supplier…
Enter: personalisation and gifting.
Being the UK’s leading retailer in the gift experience market, introducing customisable gifts was a natural progression for Moonpig (and luckily for them it’s a speciality of ours).
From mugs and socks, to wine bottles and chocolate boxes, we launched an entire range of personalisable products that made the perfect ‘add on’ to customer orders.
And we didn’t stop there…
As volumes increased, we also became Moonpig’s fulfilment resilience partner.
Having been so impressed by our ability to adapt and scale, it wasn’t long before Moonpig brought us into their wider FMCG partner network – introducing us to the likes of Lindt Chocolatiers and Marmite. This marked the next chapter of our partnership, as we began supporting the delivery of complex, high-volume personalisation across multiple substrates.
Key stats:
Providing 365‑day pick‑and‑pack support, we stepped in during peak periods to support demand spikes and keep orders moving. This flexibility allowed Moonpig to scale production by up to 900% at peak, increasing output from 2,000 cards a day to over 30,000 cards a day.
Over the course of a decade-long partnership, we have supported over 40 peak gifting seasons, continually levelled-up our services, and kept trading moving – even throughout Covid-19 shutdowns.
