The objective

Hair Gain, the award-winning hair care company, are experts at bringing their brand to life. This is especially true at trade shows and expos, where experiential marketing is the most memorable and effective way to grow awareness.

Their innovative live scalp analysis was a hit with event goers, but they wanted to take it further and make the product come to life… literally.

When punters queued up and sat down to try the scalp service, Hair Gain envisioned a custom seat; uniquely branded, and comfortable.

Our approach

We worked with the Hair Gain team to create a bespoke piece of furniture, designed by our experts to look exactly like the famous Peptide Puff Dry Shampoo. 

Designing especially for high traffic events like trade shows and expos, we made sure to source robust, hygienic materials that would be both functional and beautiful for a long time.  

We opted for PVC as the primary material, given its durability and ease of maintenance, colour matching perfectly to Hair Gain’s brand palette.  

When challenges arose during testing and production, our experts innovatively avoided heating and material sensitivity issues, without compromising on the design or branding.  

As an extra functional feature, we added a detachable, washable cushion to make the seat both ergonomic and practical. 

Project outcome

The final chair met and exceeded Hair Gain’s expectations; combining strong brand alignment, product promotion, and ergonomic functionality.  

And the real shine on the project was when the team praised the visual impact and practicality, noting it as a standout feature at their trade shows.
